UL's Global Field Services team performs various types of inspections and audits around the world. The type of work performed by our highly qualified staff is broad and varies from UL's Follow-Up Service inspections to customized inspection services incorporating management system audits for our customers.

Field evaluation services

UL field evaluations bridge the gap between uncertified equipment and a code-compliant installation acceptable to authorities having jurisdiction. UL finds solutions that allow businesses to safely operate their newly installed equipment and assist jurisdictions to enforce their adopted regulations. If your product or equipment has been recently installed and is missing the proper UL labels, UL's Field Inspection Service can provide an onsite inspection to allow the product to be field labeled. Lightning protection systems

UL has been testing and certifying lightning protection equipment since 1908. After inspecting system components and checking completed installations, UL issues inspection certificates for installations that comply with UL's internationally recognized Standards.
