ACCREDITATIONS

ULC is accredited by the Standards Council of Canada (SCC) as a Certification Body (CB), Testing Organization (TO), Inspection Body (IB) and Standards Development Organization (SDO). ULC’s Scope of Accreditation as a Testing, Certification and Inspection body are published on SCC’s Web Site.

ULC is recognized as an OSHA NRTL Test Laboratory under ULI's (Underwriters Laboratories Inc.) Scope of Accreditation and by ANSI as a recognized Certification Body - CB under ULI's Scope of Accreditation.

ULC is a recognized National Certification Body (NCB) and operates as a Canadian CB Testing Laboratory (CBTL) to carry out testing within the IECEE CB Scheme. The scope of accreditation covers IT and Office Equipment (OFF), Electrical Equipment for Medical Use (MED), Measuring Equipment (MEAS), and Electronics & Entertainment products (TRON).

ULC is additionally recognized by BSMI Taiwan as an NCB and CBTL for IT and Office Equipment (OFF) and Electronics and Entertainment products (TRON).
